Keely Hodgkinson placed second in the women's 800-meter final in a British record 1:55.19 at the Diamond League final at the Nike Prefontaine Classic at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Hodgkinson equaled the No. 10 all-time female competitor in the event. Since Athing Mu had not run a Diamond League race this season prior to the final, Hodgkinson still earned the trophy.
