Natalie Roberts, a junior at Mountain View Mesa High, took third in the Division 1 girls final by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 18:58.0 at the Arizona Interscholastic Association state championship meet at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Roberts helped Mountain View Mesa earn eighth place as a team with 258 points.
