I have a shooting pain in the bottoms of my feet. I've always had high arches, and the only problems I've had with my feet are several ankle sprains during my basketball career, and stress fractures early in my military career. I've never, had to wear shoes that had arch support, as long as they were comfortable. According to my doctor, and the wear of the sole on my shoes, I'm what's called a supinator, meaning I walk on the outside of my feet. I'm a little worried about what this means about my ability to run long distance, but I've overcome worse. When life gives you kemons, make lemonade. When you run with 2 bad feet, chop off one leg and get a prosthetic wheel? Would it be fair? Would it make me faster? Hmm......
